Environment Variables

On PC2 cluster systems a number of environment variables are defined that can help you in your work:

HOME	Absolute path to your PC²-wide home directory
PC2SYSNAME	The name of the system, e.g Noctua2	System-specific pages
PC2DATA	Absolute path to the PC² wide group data directories. Mounted read-only on the compute nodes and read-write on the frontends.	File Systems
PC2PFS	Absolute path to the parallel file system that contains the project directories.	File Systems
PC2SW	Absolute path to the software directory	File Systems
PC2DEPOT	Long term backup of research data.	File Systems
